Some of these rabbit pictures have already been posted in my gallery, but I wanted to gather them all together as a set and post about them.
All of these pictures are A5 sized and I really enjoyed working on them.

This little baby was so cute that I could have drawn all day, but the sketch was done really quickly and I’m really happy with the end result. The graphite stick is used in the background and foreground texturing. It gives me a quick even tone when I use the side of a stick, and the corners are good for adding quick texture details like wood grain.

Another enjoyable drawing. I just wanted to cuddle this little guy and protect him from the big bad world.

An adult rabbit this time, looking very sophisticated and smart.

The pencil sketch above was my preparatory practice before I tackled the watercolour. I learned a lot painting this rabbit. I don’t like the result as much, I think I tried to put in too much detail and overworked it a bit. I hate the grass! But it taught me to step back and think how I’m going to paint before I lift the paint brush and I needed that lesson.
